Background
Anne Lundblad is a world-class ultramarathoner. Anne was named the USATF Female Ultrarunner of the Year in 2005. She has also been awarded Ultrarunning Magazine's Female Ultrarunner of the Year for both 2005 and 2006. In addition, Anne was named USATF Female Master's Ultrarunner of the Year in 2006.
Titles aside, Anne's ultrarunning performances speak for themselves. She was a Silver Medalist at the 2005 IAU 100KM World Cup and led the U.S. women's team to an overall World Champion title! Also in 2005, Anne was the 1st place overall female at 3 other ultramarathons that same year. In addition to her victory at the prestigious 2005 JFK 50 Mile, Anne also set a new course record.
In 2006, Anne won a National Championship title at the USATF National 50k Road Championship in Long Island, NY, breaking the course record on her way to victory. She also finished an impressive 6th place at the 2006 IAU 100Km World Cup, eclipsing her personal record for the 100Km distance by 7 minutes! In addition to her accomplishments on the road, Anne was the overall female champion at the 2006 Sunmart 50 Mile Run, which served as the inaugural 50 Mile World Trail Championships.
In 2007, Anne has added two more National Chamionship titles to her impressive resume. She won the the 2007 USATF 50 Mile Road National Championship event held at the Tussey Mountainback 50 Mile in Boalsburg, PA. She also broke the course record at the event by over 7 minutes! Anne won her 9th USATF title at the 2007 USATF Trail Marathon National Championship held at the Dupont Trail Marathon.
